Workout of the Day – Killer Cardio

 

Hey Guys,

Today’s workout is a killer cardio workout that we performed this morning (sorry for the delay). The only equipment you need for today’s workout is a pull-up bar, jump rope, and a strong will.

The Workout

1 minute jump rope

1 minute of burpees w/ pushups

1 minute jump rope

1 minute of burpees w/ jump to pullup

1 minute plank

Repeat this set 4 times, with limited rest between exercises and sets.

 

Note: Today is as hard as you make it. If you want to get in better shape then you have to want it when your heart and lungs are burning. Ryan Lochte’s coach Gregg Troy puts it best “If something is important then it is important everyday. The first day it is not important, the next day it becomes unimportant.”

Today’s workout is only 20 minutes of your life, in the grand scheme of things it is not that bad and there are not many things on this earth that you cannot withstand for 20 minutes, especially a self-initiated workout. So get after it and you’ll be one step closer to whatever it is that you are chasing after.
